Royal Treatment : noun – very elaborate and attentive treatment
This is how we approach everything here at Port Chilkoot Distillery. We don’t cut corners and we pay attention to all of the details. We research what we are doing and look towards ways to improve all areas of our craft. This week, we took The Southside, a crisp, refreshing cocktail with a heavy lime base and a touch of simple syrup and mint, and added a sweet blueberry twist. After all, it is blueberry season here in Haines. We made a blueberry lemon preserve that adds a bit of sweetness and beautiful color to this drink. Come by the tasting room this week to try it, or make it at home!
