Meet Rachel
There’s a new face in the production building! Rachel started at the Distillery a few weeks ago, helping with the bottling and packaging of our Alaskan spirits.
Rachel moved to Alaska in 2016 as a photo guide, working in both Haines and Skagway to capture the beauty of the Upper Lynn Canal. You may notice some new photos popping up on our website; we have Rachel to thank for that. It turns out, she’s got a good eye for capturing both Alaskan scenery AND Alaskan spirits!
When she’s not at work, you’re likely to catch her out taking photos and foraging for mushrooms or berries. And every now and then, she travels back to Scotland, where she was born, where she enjoys touring their local distilleries and tasting scotch. Though she won’t find any scotch here in our distillery, Rachel favors our Wrack Line Rye (specifically in an Old Fashioned), but says our 50 Fathoms Gin is a close second.
