Lavender Lady

The White Lady cocktail dates back to the early 1900’s and is in the same family tree as the Clover Club and the Sidecar. To make things even more interesting, Garrett decided to make a lavender syrup to really bring out the floral notes of our 50 Fathoms Gin, and respectively changed the name to Lavender Lady. This drink is light and airy while still bringing a splash of flavor to keep you wanting another sip. Garrett added a touch of color using fireweed petals, which are closing in on their last week or two of blooming.

Recipe:

1.5 oz Gin

.5 Lemon

.5 Lavender Syrup

.25 oz Orange liqueur

Egg white

Combine ingredients in a mixing vessel, shake without ice. Add ice, then shake again. Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a pretty purple flower, if you desire.
