Breakfast of Champions

Hailing from New Orleans, Brandy Milk Punch, is a slightly sweet and rich cocktail which is typically served during a brunch gathering but can easily be enjoyed as evening nightcap too. Many variants for this cocktail circulate through the cocktail world switching the brandy base for bourbon, or different styles of rum. Ours will be using bourbon and then bringing a nostalgic feel of childhood by infusing the milk with Honey Nut Cheerios. The honey and almond notes from the cereal are perfect for this cocktail. Who doesn’t love the sweet milk at the bottom of the cereal bowl?

1.5 oz Boatwright Bourbon

2 oz Honey Nut Cheerio Milk

.25 oz Demerara Syrup

Grated Nutmeg

Shake and double strain into a cocktail glass with fresh ice. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg
